DESCRIPTION

The TT Modular Medic Pack 38 is a high-volume, modular first-aid backpack for situations where small, personal kits are no longer sufficient. With 38 liters of volume, a fully opening main compartment, six removable transparent Velcro pouches, two wide-opening front compartments, and a large lid compartment, it is designed for extensive, clearly organized equipment. This makes it particularly suitable for rescue and medical services, first responder teams, corporate emergency response, event and security services, search-and-rescue teams, as well as larger outdoor, hunting, shooting sports, or airsoft events where a central first-aid station for multiple people needs to be organized. Black looks neutral and unobtrusive, making it especially well-suited for emergency services, corporate emergency equipment, security and event services, as well as urban or professional environments.

Great organization instead of a large search area

The decisive advantage lies not only in the volume, but in the internal layout. The main compartment can be opened completely and accommodates six Velcro-attached transparent pouches. Five of these can be positioned on the front side of the interior, with a longer pouch on the side. In addition, there are variable attachment options for further medical equipment. This allows you to separate materials by function, priority, team, or restocking logic, rather than using 38 liters as a single storage space.

Two zippered front compartments and the large lid compartment open wide to hold gear that needs to be accessed quickly or frequently. A front-access compartment for disposable gloves is also included. For training, daily operations, and regular inventory checks, the clear view of the contents in the transparent pouches is particularly helpful: you can recognize faster which module is complete and what needs to be restocked.

Carrying system, MOLLE, and expansion

The backpack uses the Tasmanian Tiger Padded Back-System and features a detachable 38 mm hip belt. The length-adjustable shoulder straps are padded and can be stowed away if necessary or replaced with the included adapter straps for attachment to compatible professional carrying systems. A large handle facilitates handling when the pack is open. Laser-cut MOLLE refers to a modular attachment system where the mounting slots are cut directly into reinforced material. This allows compatible accessory pouches or holders to be attached to the exterior while keeping the surface flat and tidy. MOLLE is not a fixed accessory package: you decide yourself if and where you need additional modules.

Material and technology explained clearly

CORDURA 700 den is a high-strength polyamide fabric for durable equipment. The denier rating provides a simplified description of the yarn thickness or material class; a higher number is not automatically "better" in every application. The decisive factor is the ratio of abrasion resistance, dimensional stability, and weight. Tasmanian Tiger uses the specific material thickness appropriate for the construction of this model family. The PFC/PFAS-free DWR finish mentioned by Tasmanian Tiger is a water-repellent surface treatment. It helps moisture bead off initially but does not replace a waterproof construction or a dry bag. For beginners, it is important to note: DWR describes the surface treatment and is not a guarantee that the entire backpack is permanently waterproof.

38 liters or a smaller medic system?

If 38 liters are too large for your actual contents, it is worth looking at smaller systems: The TT Modular Medic Combat Pack 18 offers 18 liters, a side-opening construction, and stiff Tegris organization panels. The TT Medic Assault Pack L MK II is flatter and closer to the classic, body-hugging assault pack concept at 19 liters. For an even more compact configuration, the TT Medic Assault Pack MK II with 15 liters is often the more economical and manageable choice. The 38 is therefore not simply "better," but intended primarily for more extensive team and reserve equipment.

Technical data at a glance

  • Volume: 38 liters
  • Dimensions: 61 x 28 x 20 cm
  • Weight: 3.4 kg
  • Material: CORDURA 700 den, 100% polyamide
  • Carrying system: Padded Back-System, detachable 38 mm hip belt
  • Internal organization: fully opening main compartment, six removable transparent Velcro pouches, variable attachment points
  • Quick access: two front compartments, large lid compartment, front-access glove compartment
  • Exterior: Laser-cut MOLLE, Velcro surfaces, and additional attachment points on the bottom
  • Surface: PFC/PFAS-free DWR finish

The Modular Medic Pack 38 is thus the right choice if you want to not only transport extensive equipment but organize it as a logical system. For a single person or a deliberately reduced kit, it may be oversized; for team, event, training, and professional emergency concepts, however, its clearly structured interior provides exactly the reserve that smaller packs cannot offer.
