The TT SGL Mag Pouch Clamp M4 is an open single pouch for M4/AR15 magazines featuring integrated plastic clamp retention. Unlike a pure bungee pouch, the primary retention is provided by an internal plastic clip. This makes the pouch particularly shape-retaining and facilitates controlled re-indexing. Additionally, an elastic cord can be used for extra security.

The coyote version uses CORDURA® 500 den. The color and material variant do not change the intended magazine fit; format, capacity, and mounting surface remain the deciding factors. For reliable selection, you should not look only at "Single," "Double," or "Multi-Caliber" in the name. The key factors are the magazine format actually used, the required capacity, and the available space on the MOLLE grid.

• Clamp retention: With clamp retention, a molded plastic element holds the magazine in position via lateral pressure. This allows for an open design without a permanently closed lid.
• MOLLE-Reverse: MOLLE-Reverse means the attachment straps are integrated directly into the pouch. You weave them through the MOLLE grid of the carrier surface; a separate adapter is usually not necessary.
• Bungee-Cord: Bungee cord is an elastic retention cord. It keeps the contents under tension and can be quickly opened or adjusted using a pull tab or cord lock.
• 3D Polymer Pull Tab: The 3D polymer pull tab is a grippy end piece on the elastic retention system. It is easier to grasp than a thin cord alone, even when wearing gloves.
• CORDURA: CORDURA is a highly abrasion- and tear-resistant polyamide fabric. The denier count represents the thread thickness; 500 den saves some material weight compared to 700 den, while 700 den is designed for extra robustness.

Selection advice: Which model fits?

The Clamp M4 version is particularly interesting when rapid re-indexing and a shape-retaining open pouch body are the priorities. The BEL M4 pouch is lighter and simpler in design; the MCL pouch is more flexible regarding the various approved magazine types. For formats other than M4/AR15, you should not infer fit solely from external dimensions.
