DESCRIPTION
The TT Medic Container in stone grey olive is a large, two-part transport and organization system for extensive medical equipment. Instead of a backpack construction, Tasmanian Tiger uses two modules that can be combined with each other, hung side-by-side or one below the other, and used individually if required. Stone grey olive denotes the IRR version here. In addition to the visible color, defined properties in the near-infrared range are relevant for this variant.
Each module measures approximately 50 × 50 × 15 cm; the complete set weighs around 3.84 kg. The set contains a total of eight detachable transparent pouches in three sizes. For transport, the interior is protected against dust and splash water by a zipper cover.
Two modules, many configurations
One module contains three clear pouches, the other five. The two units can be connected horizontally with buckles or arranged vertically. Robust suspension straps with large carabiners allow for attachment to suitable structures. The covers can be rolled up and stowed away at the site of operation so that the transparent pouches remain directly accessible.
Transparent pouches in three sizes
The scope of delivery includes three pouches in size S, four in size M, and one large pouch in size L. All can be removed and rearranged. Glow stick slots and Velcro surfaces facilitate labeling. On the outside, laser-cut MOLLE supplements the modular attachment.
From transport state to workstation
The special benefit of the container becomes apparent when switching from closed transport to open organization. During transit or storage, the transparent pouches lie behind the zipper covers. At the workstation, the covers are rolled up and the modules are hung. This way, the contents remain visible and accessible without having to spread all individual items out over a surface.
The two modules can be used separately. This allows, for example, one group of equipment to remain in one location while the second module moves to another workstation. This divisibility is an important difference compared to a single large transport bag.
Medic Container or Medic Transporter?
The TT Medic Transporter is designed more as a fold-out panel system and offers a large, direct overview with several smaller panels. The Medic Container protects the contents more strongly during transport due to its closed module covers and can be configured as two large units. Which solution is more suitable therefore depends less on the volume than on the desired workflow.
When is a backpack more sensible?
For frequent carrying over distance, the TT First Responder 50 IRR is the significantly more mobile solution. The First Responder 50 combines 50 liters with a padded carrying system. The Medic Container, on the other hand, shows its strength when equipment needs to be clearly laid out in a vehicle, in a facility, or at a fixed workstation.
PFC/PFAS-free DWR: what this means in practice
According to the manufacturer, the current impregnation is PFC/PFAS-free. A DWR treatment initially causes water to bead off the surface and reduces the rapid soaking of the outer material. However, it does not automatically make a bag or backpack waterproof. In case of prolonged exposure to wetness or if carrying sensitive contents, you should therefore continue to plan for additional moisture protection.

What does IRR mean at Tasmanian Tiger?
IRR stands for Infrared Radiation or defined reflection properties in the near-infrared range. This does not mean that the item becomes "invisible." For the IRR versions, Tasmanian Tiger states that the CORDURA® material, webbing, Velcro surfaces, and buckles meet the requirements of TL 8305-0278 and TL 8305-0281 respectively. The range mentioned is 650 to 1250 nm with defined reflection values. For civilian users, this is usually not a decisive purchase criterion; for professional procurement, however, it can be relevant.
