DESCRIPTION

The TT Battle Belt Set is a modern two-belt setup featuring a stiff Tegris® core, laser-cut MOLLE, and an inner hook-and-loop belt. This concept is designed for users who want to carry their equipment as stably as possible in a defined position while desiring less bulk than a heavily padded warrior belt. The anatomical shape follows the hip angle, allowing the belt to sit close to the body despite its stiffness. This version is in black. The color does not change the intended function; more important for your selection are width, stiffness, size range, and whether you are looking for a simple trouser belt or a modular carrying platform.

The length adjustment is particularly practical: the Tegris® belt overlaps under the 25 mm COBRA® buckle and can be shortened by the user if necessary. The CORDURA® laminate MOLLE segments can be positioned along the belt. A hook-and-loop inner belt and a removable gear loop are already included – so you receive a complete base system and not just the outer carrying platform.

What is the TT Battle Belt Set suitable for?

  • stiff two-belt setups with repeatable positioning of pouches and accessories
  • users looking for a low-profile, shape-retaining equipment belt with an inner belt
  • shooting sports and training where a belt needs to be put on quickly and taken off completely
  • applications where laser-cut MOLLE needs to be flexibly distributed along the belt

Design, carrying principle, and practical use

  • 12-layer Tegris®: ensures high shape retention with low weight.
  • 25 mm COBRA® buckle: compact metal quick-release buckle from AustriAlpin.
  • Inner belt included: keeps the outer system in its intended position via hook-and-loop.
  • Slidable laser-cut MOLLE segments: allow for a very targeted distribution of attachment points.
  • Shortenable: the Tegris® belt can be adjusted to your own circumference within the manufacturer's specifications.

With a modular belt, the arrangement is almost as important for comfort as the model itself. Large or hard pouches should not be positioned directly on the pelvic bone or in the crease of the hip. Also, plan for open areas: a belt that is completely filled may look tidy on a table, but can become significantly more uncomfortable when sitting, kneeling, or wearing a backpack.

After the initial assembly, it is worth conducting a load test with real content. Check whether the belt pulls down while walking, whether it twists to one side, and whether you can reach all pouches even while wearing a jacket or gloves. This way, you will quickly realize whether you should shift a pouch, reduce the load, or switch to a more heavily padded or stiffer belt.

Terms simply explained

  • MOLLE/PALS: a grid of slots or webbing to which compatible pouches are modularly attached. Crucial is not just being "MOLLE-compatible," but also how much clear length and height are available on the belt.
  • Laser-cut MOLLE: the attachment slots are cut directly out of a laminate or reinforced material. This saves bulky webbing and allows for a low-profile construction.
  • Inner belt/under-belt: a narrow belt that runs through the trouser loops. The outer belt can be secured to it via hook-and-loop, allowing it to be put on and taken off quickly without re-threading the entire setup.
  • Tegris®: a stiff, thermoplastic composite material made of self-reinforced polypropylene. It combines low weight with high shape retention.
  • COBRA®: a metal quick-release buckle from AustriAlpin. The designation is a brand name and does not indicate that the belt is approved as climbing equipment.

Selection guide: Which belt is right for you?

The Battle Belt Set is the right direction if you want a stiff, modern two-belt setup. The Basic Battle Belt uses a similar Tegris® principle but is delivered without an inner belt. The Warrior Belt MK IV is more heavily padded and softer, while the Warrior Belt LC is flatter and more classically constructed.
