DESCRIPTION

The TT Battle Belt Set is a modern two-belt system with a rigid Tegris® core, laser-cut MOLLE, and a hook-and-loop inner belt. The concept is aimed at users who want to carry their equipment as stably as possible in a defined position while desiring less bulk than a heavily padded warrior belt. The anatomical shape follows the hip angle, allowing the belt to sit close to the body despite its rigidity. This version is finished in coyote. The color does not alter the intended function; more important for your selection are width, rigidity, size range, and whether you are looking for a simple trouser belt or a modular carrying platform.

The length adjustment is particularly practical: the Tegris® belt overlaps under the 25 mm COBRA® buckle and can be shortened by the user if necessary. The MOLLE segments made of CORDURA® laminate can be positioned along the belt. A hook-and-loop inner belt and a removable gear loop are already included – meaning you receive a complete basic system and not just the outer carrier platform.

What is the TT Battle Belt Set suitable for?

  • rigid two-belt setups with a repeatable position for pouches and accessories
  • users looking for a flat, dimensionally stable equipment belt with an inner belt
  • shooting sports and training where a belt needs to be put on and taken off completely in a quick manner
  • applications where laser-cut MOLLE needs to be distributed flexibly along the belt

Design, carrying principle, and practical use

  • 12-layer Tegris®: ensures high dimensional stability with low weight.
  • 25 mm COBRA® buckle: compact metal quick-release buckle from AustriAlpin.
  • Inner belt included: keeps the outer system in its intended position via hook-and-loop.
  • Slidable laser-cut MOLLE segments: allow for very targeted distribution of attachment points.
  • Can be shortened by the user: the Tegris® belt can be adjusted to your own circumference within the manufacturer's specifications.

With a modular belt, the arrangement is almost as critical to comfort as the model itself. Large or hard pouches should not lie directly on the pelvic bone or in the crease of the hip. Also, plan for clear areas: a belt that is fully loaded without gaps may look tidy on the table, but can become significantly less comfortable when sitting, kneeling, or wearing a backpack.

After the initial assembly, a load test with actual contents is recommended. Check whether the belt pulls down when walking, whether it twists to one side, and whether you can reach all pouches even with a jacket or gloves on. This way, you will identify early on whether you should move a pouch, reduce the load, or switch to a more heavily padded or stiffer belt.

Terms explained simply

  • MOLLE/PALS: a grid of slots or webbing to which compatible pouches are modularly attached. Crucial is not just being "MOLLE-compatible," but also how much free length and height are available on the belt.
  • Laser-cut MOLLE: the attachment slots are cut directly out of a laminate or reinforced material. This saves on bulky webbing and allows for a flat construction.
  • Inner belt/underbelt: a narrow belt that runs through the trouser loops. The outer belt can be fixed onto it via hook-and-loop, allowing it to be put on and taken off quickly without having to re-thread the entire setup.
  • Tegris®: a rigid, thermoplastic composite material made of self-reinforced polypropylene. It combines low weight with high dimensional stability.
  • COBRA®: a metal quick-release buckle from AustriAlpin. The term is a brand name and does not indicate that the belt is approved as climbing equipment.

Selection guide: Which belt is right for you?

The Battle Belt Set is the right direction if you want a rigid, modern two-belt system. The Basic Battle Belt uses a similar Tegris® principle but is delivered without an inner belt. The Warrior Belt MK IV is more heavily padded and softer, while the Warrior Belt LC is flatter and features a more classic design.
