- With black Kydex sheath
Intended Use:
The Sackimesser 3.0 finds its use as an outdoor knife, work knife and everyday knife. Especially in the outdoor area it faces many challenges and is versatile. Whether cutting, carving, chopping wood, making fire, making tinder, opening cans or canned food: The Sackimesser 3.0 is the ideal companion for any forest adventure. However, it should not be used as a crowbar or crampon or for extreme leverage.
Care Tip:
Since the carbon steel is a non-stainless material, some tips should be followed to enjoy the blade for a long time. The knife should not be exposed to moisture or acids for a long period of time. It should also NEVER be put in the dishwasher. Aggressive cleaning additives and high water temperature would only harm the blade. After use, clean the knife by hand with lukewarm water and mild detergent, then dry thoroughly. If the blade is not used for a longer period of time, it can be preserved with a few drops of acid-free oil. A characteristic feature of carbon steels is the so-called patina. It forms after a short time. This is completely normal and not harmful to the blade. On the contrary, it even protects the knife blade from rust.
