With 380 g/m² heavy fleece and a reference weight of over a kilogram, it is not aimed at minimalists, but at users who want as much insulation as possible, a hood, and extensive pocket organization during low-activity periods. Especially during long periods of standing still or cold breaks, this design can be more comfortable than a very light midlayer; during high activity, however, it becomes too warm more quickly.
