Light protection from rain and wind
The Levanter is a lightweight, waterproof rain jacket designed for off-road use when the weather makes its own rules. Thanks to the DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating and an inner PU (Polyurethane) layer, the jacket protects against light rain and wind. It offers 10,000 mm of waterproofing and 10,000 g/m²/24h of breathability – ideal for medium-intensity activities.
How does the Levanter differ from a classic hardshell?
The Levanter is lighter, more compact, and simpler in construction. It takes up little space and offers instant protection when the weather changes. A hardshell with a membrane, on the other hand, is better suited for longer, intense activities in continuous rain.
The Levanter's thoughtful design includes a shortened 3/4-length zipper for easy on and off and additional ventilation. A large kangaroo pocket with two-sided access and two zippers offers space for important equipment. The adjustable hood adapts to the head shape and provides additional protection from wind and rain.
Key Features:
-
DWR C0: Water repellent – environmentally friendly, without compromise
-
PU 10K/10K: Protection barrier against moisture, comfort for short-term use in rain
-
3/4-length zipper: Quick to put on, additional ventilation without complete opening
-
Kangaroo pocket: Two zippers, space for map, EDC, or gloves
-
Adjustable hood: Adapts to the head, protects against gusts of wind
-
Lightweight, compressible design: Ideal as an "in case of" layer
Without an active membrane, the Levanter is best suited as an emergency rain jacket – light, quick to pack away, and ready for use when the weather becomes unpredictable.
To maintain the jacket's durability and performance, it should be stored dry and away from moisture.
The PFAS-free DWR-C0 coating will lose its water-repellent properties over time; therefore, it is recommended to regularly renew the waterproofing with suitable care products.
