DESCRIPTION
The Magazine Flap is an extension for the Vulcan II and Vulcan III plate carriers and is attached to the front. Three magazine pouches are sewn in, and the Magazine Flap comes with three bungee retention cords. It can accommodate G36, G3, M4, and AK47-1XX magazines.
Additional Molle loops are attached to the magazine pouch, serving to secure the retention kit and hold other equipment. An additional horizontal channel with 4 MOLLE loops is located at the bottom of the magazine pouches. Here, items such as knives, tourniquets, or pistol magazine pouches can be attached.
Attachment to the plate carrier is done via 4 webbing straps located on the upper back. The webbing straps are simply threaded through the MOLLE loops of the carrier and then looped through the webbing of the flap. The webbing straps are secured to the hook-and-loop fastener surface. The hook-and-loop surface at the bottom of the flap is secured inside the plate pocket, ensuring a firm hold. The Modular Flap is an innovative attachment system with additional functions. For example, additional material, such as a flat IFAK or maps, can be carried between the plate carrier and the Modular Flap.
The Modular Flap is designed for the Vulcan II and Vulcan III plate carriers and also fits the officially issued LHT plate carrier.
The materials used comply with the technical delivery conditions of the German Armed Forces or the MIL-SPEC of various other armies. Fabrics, webbing, plastic parts, and all haberdashery comply with military standards regarding infrared values, composition, and quality.
