Anyone who is outdoors encounters new water conditions every day. Sometimes the water is clear, sometimes cloudy, and sometimes it smells like chemicals. The ceramic pre-filter removes particles and suspended matter, and the glass fiber filter retains bacteria and protozoa. The activated carbon ensures that annoying odors don't stand a chance and chemicals are reduced.
This Katadyn pump filter relies on ceramic as a cleanable dirt filter and fiberglass as a microbiological filter with low pumping resistance. The ceramic disc can be switched on in "LONGER LIFE" mode for turbid water at a rate of 1L/min. In "FASTER FLOW" mode, the glass fiber filter is directly flowed to and the pumping capacity is increased up to 2L/min.
A dual pump mechanism ensures continuous output with minimal effort, and the rubber base gives the filter a secure footing. The integrated bottle thread fits directly onto Nalgene bottles (large opening).
Lifespan is up to 2,000 liters.
