What to do when it's stiflingly hot, and you still need to act tactically and require all the tactical features of the UTP® trousers? Try the UTS®, Urban Tactical Shorts® or our best-selling shorts. The cut and pocket layout allow them to remain civilian enough not to reveal the wearer's identity, while still providing the ability to carry all tactical gear. The elastic, Velcro-closed waistband allows for adjustment within the size. Large belt loops accommodate wide belts like EDC, UTL®, or Cobra®. The cut (from blue jeans, from which you can choose) prevents the shorts from falling off when worn. With a sensible arrangement of pockets, equipment can be positioned close to the center mass, around the hips and waist. Front and back pocket edges are reinforced to prevent constant movement of lights or knife clips. Two front pockets closed with Velcro are large enough to hold a smartphone or even an AR/AK rifle magazine. The zippered thigh pockets look flat – but the design allows for easy carrying of pouches or wallets. A variety of colors makes it possible to match the shorts to the rest of your wardrobe or to working conditions.
