New version of the iconic Patriot Jacket
After many years, the well-known Patriot Jacket is getting a new version: more modern, smarter, and with an improved design. We are very pleased with the incredible popularity of the first version, but the time has come for this classic piece to evolve. The Patriot Jacket Mk2 is made of a new hybrid fleece material (340 g/m2), which reduces weight and improves breathability while maintaining the thermal properties of the first version. Superfluous elements have been removed, and several innovations have been added – thus creating the Patriot Jacket Mk2.
Fleece: Light yet warm
The hybrid fleece material has two different layers. On the outside, it resembles classic fleece, but on the inside, it is a grid fleece, already known from the Alpha Hoodie and Alpha Tactical Jacket. It is a material with a characteristic fine checkerboard structure of thicker, raised squares and thinner spaces. This makes the Patriot Mk2 lighter and more breathable, while still keeping you warm. Zippered underarm vents contribute to thermoregulation.
Better design and practical pockets
All necessary items can be stored in seven pockets. Two at chest height and two new pockets below them, at hip height. The user has more freedom in arranging items in the pockets. He can also keep his hands as comfortable as possible. Additionally, there are two pockets on the shoulders and an internal pocket. Based on customer suggestions, we have omitted the back pocket at kidney level and the small pocket on the left forearm. Tactical clothing should be functional and comfortable, so we have focused on a more modern design for the jacket and its hood. The Patriot Jacket Mk2 is more form-fitting and does not restrict movement. Another upgrade is the laser-cut hook-and-loop panels on the shoulders with pen holders.
