DESCRIPTION
The Bearcat Ultralight Plate Carrier is a modular, lightweight platform for users who want to save weight and configure their system specifically to their needs. The elastic main material adapts to various plate contours, laser-cut sections provide MOLLE/PALS, and rear zippers allow for compatible panels. Its strength is its low weight; in return, the Bearcat requires more planning regarding accessories than a fully pre-configured carrier.
This variant is offered in MultiCam. The color does not change the basic construction or the intended plate accommodation.
Planning the overall system is particularly important with the Bearcat because the cummerbund is not included in the basic package. Therefore, choose the plate and carrier size first, then the appropriate cummerbund, and only then the front flap or back panel. This prevents individual components from being mechanically mountable but not fitting your desired comfort level in total. An ultralight carrier shows its strengths primarily when accessories are also consciously reduced. Anyone who expands it with many heavy pouches loses a large part of the weight advantage of the minimalist base platform.
